3. 楽譜を準備する（その１）
Prepare the score (part1)
楽譜を準備する手段は大きく3つです。
There are three major ways to prepare music.
もらう
get
買う
buy
書く
write
まず「もらう」です。
First of all, I'll get it.
アカペラの楽譜をもらうためには、楽譜を書ける知人がいる、またそのような環境に身を置いていることが必要です。
In order to get an acapella score, it is necessary to have friends who can write the score or to be in such an environment.
環境というのは、基本的にアカペラサークルです。
The environment is basically an a cappella circle.
過去のメンバーが書いた楽譜を誰でも使っていいものとしてサークルに提供している場合があります。
In some cases, the score written by past members may be provided to the circle as a matter of use by anyone.
感謝して使わせてもらいましょう。
Thank you and let you use it.
自分が楽譜を書けるようになったら、その恩を同じように後輩に還元してあげるといいでしょう。
If you are able to write your score, it will be better to return the same benefits to your juniors then.
楽譜を書いた人に了解が取れているかどうかわからない場合は、ちゃんと自分で許可を得るようにしましょう。
If you don't know if the use of the score permited by author, make sure you get permission yourself.
突然でも、xxxさんの書いた楽譜歌っていいですか？と聞かれて悪い気はしません。
Suddenly, "can I sing the score written by Mr. xxx? " asked, It is not bad to hear that.
それで収入を得ていない限り大体許可が得られるでしょう。
So, you will probably get permission unless the author gets income by writing scores.

2. 歌う曲を選ぶ（その２）

さて、ではどんな曲を選べばいいでしょう？
Well, what kind of song should I choose?
まずは楽譜がある中から選ぶといいでしょう。
First of all, it is better to choose from the score.
あとは皆が知っている曲や難易度の低い曲からですね。
The rest is from songs that everyone knows and songs with low difficulty.
準備に時間をかけてしまうとせっかく集まったメンバーの興味も別のところに行ってしまうかもしれません。
If it takes time to prepare, the interests of the gathered members may go to different things.
最初はグループが軌道に乗るまでこまめに成功体験を重ねつつ、歌いたい曲を準備するといいでしょう。
At first, it is good to prepare a song you want to sing, repeating the experience of success until the group gets on track.
ただ、注意すべきは好きなアーティストや楽曲がアカペラにして聴き映えがいいとは限らないということです。
However, it should be noted that the favorite artist or song is not always good listening in a cappella.
例えばヘビメタとかラップとか。

とはいえ、メンバーやアレンジャーの実力次第なところもあるので、経験を積んでたくさん仲間を見つけて、いろんな曲やジャンルに挑戦してください!!

2. 歌う曲を選ぶ（その1）

メンバーが集まったところで歌う曲を決めていきましょう。
Let's decide the song to sing when the members gather.
もちろんメンバーを集めるときにはすでに決まっているかも知れません。
Of course, it may already be decided when collecting members.
みんなで相談するのもいいですが、まずはメンバーを集めた人（リーダー）がこの歌いたいという思いや方針を打ち出すとグループが安定します。
It is good to consult with everyone, but the group becomes stable when the person who gathered the members (leader) first sets out the thought and policy that they want to sing.
このブログで曲の選び方を読んでくださる方は何から歌ったらいいだろう、と思っている方もいると思うので、別の機会におススメのアーティストや曲も紹介します。
I think some people who read this blog think it would be better to sing, so I will also introduce recommended artists and songs on other occasions.
ただ、メンバーが初心者ばかりのグループで、動画などを見て憧れていきなり難しい曲に挑戦しては歌えるようになる前に諦めてしまうかもしれません。

1. メンバーを集める（その３）

前回まででどんなメンバーを探せばいいかわかったと思います。

あとはどのようにしてメンバーを集めるかです。
The remaining is how to gather members.
もしあなたが学校に通う学生であれば、同じ学校で探せると思います。
If you are a student at school, I think you can find it at the same school.
大学であればアカペラサークルがある大学がたくさんあります。
If you are a university student, there are many universities with a cappella circle.
社会人にもサークルがあります。
There are also circles for working people.
自分の学校で集まらない…という人には、大学のサークルの中には外部からの参加者を受け入れてくれるところもあります。
For those of you who don't gather at your own school, some of the university circles will accept outside participants.
社会人サークルにも年齢制限があるわけではないので、高校生がいたりします。
There is no age limit for working people's circles, so sometimes there are some high school students in it.
サークルには同じ趣味、目的を持った仲間が集まっているので勇気を出して飛び込んでみるときっとすぐにメンバーを集めることができるでしょう。
There are friends with the same hobbies and purposes in the circle, so be sure to jump in and get in on the courage.

前回はベースとボイスパーカッションのお話をしました。
Last time, I talked about bass and voice percussion.
今回はリードボーカルとコーラスです。
This time I will talk regarding lead vocal and chorus.
これらのパートは歌える人なら誰でも、ということになりますが、
音域のバランスを考えて人選ができるとベターです。
These parts can be anyone, but It is better to be able to select people considering the balance of the range.
具体的にはコーラスに一人は男声または声の低い女声がいると安定します。
Specifically, one person in the chorus is stable when there is a male voice or a low female voice.
なぜなら、コーラスが全員女声で、かつ高い声しか出ない場合、リードボーカルよりも高いパートの人が多くなってしまい、曲全体が上ずった感じになってしまうことがあるからです。
That's because if the chorus is all female and has only high voices, the part that is higher than the lead vocals will be more, and the entire song may feel like it has gone up.
とはいえ、一緒にやろうと言ってくれる人は貴重で、贅沢は言っていられません。
However, those who say they want to do together are valuable. You cannot say luxury.
４人くらい集まったらその時点のメンバーで歌える曲を探して始めてしまうといいでしょう。

1. メンバーを集める（その１）
Gather members
今となってはリードボーカル、コーラス3人、ベース、ボイスパーカッションが一般的となりましたが、とりあえずイメージされているアカペラをやろうと思うと最低４人は集めることになるでしょう。
Now the 5 or 6 persons style that includes lead vocals, choruses, bass, and voice percussion have become commonplace.
At least four persoons will gather if you want to do a cappella that has been imaged.
一番大事なのは何といってもベース。
The most important part is the bass!!
低い音、曲の中で一番重要であるコードのルート音を歌うパートです。
It is a part that sings the low note, the root of the chord that is most important in the song.
しかも、リズムを作るのもベースなので音感に加えてリズム感も求められます。
Moreover, since it is also the bass to create rhythm.
Not only a sense of sound but also sense of rhythm is required in that part.
いいベースがいればグループが安定するでしょう。
If there is a good bass, the group will be stable.
ボイスパーカッションは見つかればラッキー、どうしても必要であればメンバーの誰かが練習してできるようになれば問題ありません。
It is lucky if you find Voice percussion. But if you cannot find, it is ok to let someone in memberi to practice.

とても地道な練習が必要なので、まじめで練習熱心な人をアサインしましょう。
Since a very steady practice is necessary to aquire the voice percussion, you'd better to assign a member who is serious and practicing enthusiast.

まずは、アカペラをやってみたいけど、何をしたらいいの？という方のために
アカペラの始め方をシンプルにわかりやすく書いていきたいと思います。
First, I would like to write how to start a cappella simply and easily fo someone who want to start a cappella or who don't know what to do at first.
準備の大きな流れは以下の通りです。
The outline of preparation is as below.
1. メンバーを集める

2. 歌う曲を選ぶ
Choose a song to sing
3. 楽譜を準備する

4. 練習場所を決める
Decide where to practice
5. 披露する場所を決める
